John has been a part of the building industry for over 45 years, first serving his apprenticeship as a Quantity Surveyor with Bernard Sunley & Sons Ltd.

Spending a large part of his career with Parkrose Builders Ltd; a specialist, high-end Joinery company. John was appointed the Commercial Manager on a full-time basis. During his time with Parkrose, John has worked on some very prestigious projects such as Wrights Lane, Kensington; Duke of York Headquarters, V&A Museum, and the New Parliamentary Buildings.

Leaving Parkrose Builders Ltd in 2012, John then joined Paul and formed the Carpentry and Joinery arm of Blou Construction. John’s responsibilities within Blou, therefore, lie with the Carpentry and Joinery side of the business, managing the day-to-day running of the Carpentry contracts and also managing the manufacture and delivery of Joinery items to the site.
