Blou carried out an £850,000 joinery package to a new 3-storey luxury family club in Notting Hill, London.
The ground floor comprises the family area where parents leave their children with supervised staff in a play and activity space, whilst they can experience a range of holistic treatments on the upper levels.
The ground floor works included timber wall paneling feature children’s toilets, buggy park lockers, extensive floor to ceiling storage cupboards, banquette seating, curved bespoke Corian baby change unit, brasserie feature food counter, and mirrors with a ballet barre. The entrance lobby included a reception desk, laser cut wall paneling, and a feature staircase to upper floors.
The first floor comprises the spa, including changing rooms with hand-carved lockers, vanity units, treatments units, a large feature stone fireplace, curved metal patterned doors, hairdressing vanity units, extensive veneered wall paneling, curved high gloss wall paneling, and large circular ceiling with a light feature, and oak display units to the restaurant
On the second floor, the works included a staff kitchen with solid oak worktop, consultant and treatment rooms with vanity units, storage units, and the like.
We met the challenges faced, such as the extensive coordination of the electrical, mechanical, and data equipment into the joinery units, and working in a mews residential area requiring just in time deliveries.
